i have 2 friends that i need 2 get something for them and also i need a gift for my mom...i cant find anything in the mall cuz ours is tiny...so what r sum christmas gifts that i can make without having 2 go buy things for it...i have a ton of denim, so does anyone know what to make with that???

Take the denim and make either purses or totes, you can add lace if your friends are girly girls, leather or suade or metallic trims if they are more into other things. You can personalize them with their names or initials. You can use
the new fabric paints (they work well) to add other things. Then make one for yourself too and the three of you can sport your bags together. The denim purse I have is made of pieces sowed together leaving fuzzy edges on the outside and it looks like patch work. The other thing too is to make the straps at least two inches wide and long. If you want to carry them shorter just tie the strap in a knot. If you make totes make sure the straps are on very well because totes can get heavy if used when your shopping. I think if you don't make it to out there you could even make one for your mom, a lot of people are into not using grocery store plastic bags and more are keeping a tote in the car for those times you just need a couple things. I saw one the other day, it was really cute, there were pictures of a can like Campbells soup, Saltine crackers, and a loaf of french bread. Some carrots and and other things. Quite a few people asked where she got it, including me. She told us her grandmother had made one for all the women in the family.
