Try to make something unique... This can make it much more appealing than just trying to find one item and resell it. Find a niche for you site and make it your own!

You already know the problem. Market saturation.If I made a list of the several hundred calls I received in 2007 for SEO work, gift baskets would appear probably 30 times! (Personalized products were probably the only one with more - another hyper saturated market.)
I recommend you re-invent your business. Do something amazing and remarkable. Make something irresistible. Yep, it's hard - that's what makes it valuable.
